I woke this morning to the sounds of the ocean surf. While the seagulls congregated outside my back door, making their familiar calls. My eyes were taken aback by broken pieces of sunlight sparkling on the cold choppy waters. As I stepped out my door, I could see old married couples strolling along the shoreline as the now exhausted waves wash over their aged feet, with a gentle call, to breathe in this moment and make it last forever. For soon the day trippers will be here and the world will move on...
