Everyone always says “Diamonds are a girls best friend”

I say,

Its Gold.

Everybody has some,

Everywhere you look.

You can see it in the darkest corners,

You can see it with just a look.

It lies within all of us,

And it comes with no hook.

A heart of Gold is worth more than

just a second glace look.

The First Questions

Dust to Ashes,

Ashes to Dust,

The Wind gently whispers.

Life to Death.

Death into Life?

It questions me.

Light so bright,

Dark so deep.

Which way?

Think not of life,

Think not of death.

Then think of what, I ask?

Lavender fields,

Sweep across the land.

Flowing gently in the wind.

The smell of Lilacs,

The roar of running water,

The fresh dew kissed grass.

What am I missing?

Am I sane?

Am I Alive?

Just be,

Says the wind,

Just be.
