Go through the motions

Stare and ponder, joyful bliss,

Consider and wonder, yearn to kiss,

What once was a simple friendship, nothing more,

Now turned into a plot line, something else in store,

Storms a coming, soon to dread,

Now yearning to endure with her instead,

Solitude and then alone, voice to then condone,

Serve with compassion, serve a need,

Deny yourself, the crosses creed,

Prep and build, store away,

Seasons change, not to stay,

Pick it up, then push on,

Darkness before the morning dawn,

What once you dreaded before through torment and anxious strife,

Now molds you like a potter to be a vessel for another’s life.

Take and build, let it grow,

Through the spirit to reap what we sew,

Foundation built, treasures inside,

There the heart would then confide…
