Go big or go home they say.

But what if you can’t go big?

Don’t worry about going big,

Go steady.

Maybe your biggest feels miniscule.

Maybe you don’t think you are capable of big yet.

But you need to start.

And you need to start from wherever you are.

Entire coliseums are built from the ground up.

From rock bottom quite literally.

That foundation is needed to be strong.

Start from the beginning.

So go on, go steadily forward.

Progress is progress no matter how small.

Maybe you can only take two steps today

And those steps feel a mile long each,

You don’t want to go.

You don’t think it is good enough.

But those steps are forward.

You are worth moving forward.

Take them and then rest.

Pause to breathe and admire your work.

Then go ahead and take two more.

One of these days you may start taking three.

Don’t push so hard that you break.

Don’t step until you are empty.

Go steadily forward.

Do great things in your own time.

Keep up with your own pace.

One day you will climb mountains again.

Just go steady.
