Fragile relationships

How fragile our relationships, can sometimes be,

Just please make sure, you never lie to me,

The truth they say, will set you free,

And it always comes out, eventually,

It may be hard, to explain or say,

And we may want to, hide somethings away,

Maybe a moment, where we let things slide,

And now it sits waiting, draining our pride,

But face this life, with honest intentions,

Trust in your friends, and remove apprehension,

For if that lie, is ever to surface,

The damage you’ll do, will make apologies worthless,

For every person, has a story to tell,

Of how they grew, but as human’s they fell,

No one is perfect, and that’s a fact,

And mistakes they happen, that take us off track,

We sometimes focus, on negative things,

With that only trouble, we’ll always bring,

But in some you meet, who shine from within,

Seeing the positives, in everything,

How one person, can change your mood,

With kindness and, so much gratitude,

We seek these people, and try to understand,

If in this world, there’s a hidden hand,

Bringing these people, in to our space,

You know them once, you see their face,

A sense of calm, or it’s in the eyes,

They lift you up, on such natural highs,

You know in their heart, which is ever so pure,

Where all of your troubles, they are the cure.
