For love, is as strong as death.

Earth trembles at the breaking,

Windbreaks at the thunders call,

Fire ablaze, forest burnt,

Waters swell and waves toss to and fro,

Lion pounces against rival pride,

Runner claiming what belongs to him,

As a champion fighting viciously for the prize,

Like a king who does not suffer rivals for his crown,

Nor a prince who would see another upon his throne,

As a father destroys that which threatens his children,

Like a mother who would not suffer the tormenting of her precious treasures,

As death claims his portion and will not be denied,

Like the general who declares war,

As soldiers laying claim over the spoils,

So is the jealous love of a woman towards the man her heart desires…
