Like a flower you were,
of slight petals,
of beauty you were a light,
but not only this you were.
You were strong against the wind,
when time wanted you to fall.
You were a light to smile,
like in the winter's sunset land,
the last rays of a fading sun
You were all one could see,
a colour in the middle of greys,
a smile in hard times.
You were like a flower,
and time has passed by,
and you flourished even more.
I sat next to you,
watching the sky together,
in the middle weather,
of the rising spring.
