Float

This morning

All I wanna do is make ends meet

But I can't seem to float up

Can't find the soles of my feet

It's like someone swept me up in the night

Creeped up under me

And questioned my surrender to this fight

You see

The light, it's might

It's a powerful plight to seize

Just ease back into the endless seas

And let gravity be your tease, jeez

Gettin in too deep

When the sleep doesn't stop me from weeping

It's just a creeping maze that I enter

To keep some kind of

Steep leap

Within my hands reach

Your speech

Doesn't help me find reason

All it does is leech into the season

Whichever one I find my mind within

Let's ride with it

And find what lies within

Keep your sins tucked in

Keep your fight worn thin

Cause what's been

Will become clean

And what's next

Will explode into textiles

It's that fresh style

That you rock up to the party in

That will determine whether you're a rising star

Or simply a has been

So keep your vibes real

Keep your mind steel

Preach your wisdom clean

And let your inner light gleam

Keep the steam at bay

And I tell you what hey

It's a life worth living

You will have the next day

And I just wanna say a quick thanks

To the skanks who told me I wasn't great

That just made me appreciate

The way my mind depreciates

Bitches like you

Who? Who cares

It was the stairs to my lair

And I'm there

It only takes time

And time is what you find

When you look beyond the telescope

Of what exists within your mind

It's real

And you feel

You're here

So breathe.
