FIRST NIGHT IN CAIRO

The magic of Cairo,

I'm under its spell.

The sights, the sounds,

a clueless mystery.

****

On our first night in Cairo,

the music's beat

dissolved the heat.

Love was in the air.

****

The skyline of the city

reaches out to me.

The city's lights

reflecting the mystery.

****

On our first night in Cairo,

the music's beat

dissolved the heat.

Love was in the air.

****

Cairo's music mystery

envelops the rooftop balcony.

Sitting under the stars,

our hearts pound excitedly.

****

On our first night in Cairo,

the music's beat

dissolved the heat.

Love was in the air.

This is great. With the repeating verses it reads like a song.
