I knew it was Love

when the ocean winds whispered your name

on that ferris wheel

late at night & over the sea.

I knew it was meant to be.

In every single wrong turn

that turned adventure

on back roads with you.

I knew that it had to be true.

We put on our armor and

we've fought our battles,

we've gone to war,

but we've held on to one another.

I knew you're my true star.

There have been those

who tried to dull our shine

and tried to tear us apart.

They'll never succeed

because you're the queen of my heart.
