In 1999, a song called "Roja Roja" appeared in Kadhalar Dhinam, a Kollywood film starring Kunal Singh and Sonali Bendre, with music by A.R. Rahman and lyrics by Vaali. This song became an all-time favourite among young couples and was used for all Valentine's Day
