Fated Love - Part 1

Fated before we met Doomed to be apart A love seed trampled before its prime Unwittingly doomed to be crushed before its time Full of pain and struggle; heartbreak and tears O! So many many tears

A chance encounter. A locking of eyes A destined coincidence. A meeting of hearts The beauty of love at first sight A budding artist. A struggling student A middle-class cultural family A rich upper-class business family

Our love flower bloomed and our love bond blossomed Our heart strings tied in unison strengthened by chords not physical Deeply entrenching as if envisioning the coming battles Our very beings and souls melding Refusing to break whatever may come

Two varying worlds colliding. An almost impossible gulf and chasm Wealth, social class, culture, and principles Yet our love reached across notwithstanding Breaking barriers, gulfs, divides, and chasms Together our love bond upholding

A brutal parting. A tearful ripping of hearts Our love tree stunted - deprived, and wilting Entrenched interests; family love and loyalty; schemes and betrayal Hacked away at its tender roots seeking utter destruction
