A lion pride thirty strong

Ruled their kingdom with fear.

For many the years were long

But soon their hope was clear.

The heirs were born

And the two had different fates.

The young ones and their future await.

Time was slow

And not kind.

There was many a foe

With a rage so blind.

The young cubs learned to fight.

Defending their home with the others.

A never ending duty both day and night.

Then came the day one’s life was changed.

He was soon cast out.

But his fate had long ago been arranged.

To find his own kingdom

He would have to trek far.

And Fate’s cycle will be repeated forever more.
