Familiar "Familia"

Family

Familia

I like the way family sounds in Spanish—“familia”—familiar.

A central place of familiarity.

I know you; I feel you; I hear you kind of deal.

The place where growth is expedient while pruning of one’s character continues.

A resting place from the traumatizing world,

After we have fought the Draculas in our workplaces, schools and lines of calling.

A warrior’s healing place to prepare for the next war—the next day.

The true meaning of love—a “familia” kind of love.

I love you; I like you; I need you.

I love you; I don’t like you; be gone from my sight!

I love you; I’m sorry; come back and embrace me.

A ‘familia” kind of love.

We are going to fight this together!

I got your back for life.

It’s you always to the moon and back.

A familiar kind of love.

A “familia” kind of love.

A family kind of love.
