Falling gently down to the ground
Amber, orange, brown all around
Swept up by winds, they dance and sway
A stunning sight on an autumn day
From the trees they slowly depart
Leaving branches bare, bereft of heart
Yet in their death, they bring new life
To nourish the earth, free from strife
A rustle and a whisper, as they fall
Creating a symphony, silent to all
The crunch underfoot, a delightful sound
As autumn leaves carpet the ground
Falling leaves, a fleeting scene
Cherished and loved, as if a dream
A reminder that life ebbs and flows
In the midst of change, new beauty grows.
