Fall of Arrogance

Reaping what is sowed

He had a way with his words

And sang all of the right chords

But for his one little flaw

He would have been held in awe

See, he had this addiction

Maybe more an affliction

He could not go just one day

Without him getting his way

He thought it was endearing

And never thought of hearing

How much it was an assault

And that it was his worst fault

So he kept being that way

Probably is to this day

I know that I couldn't care

Already left him out there
