Faded Man

A strong man,

All in faded black,

With a huge tattoo on his arm.

A man with no volume,

And with ripped jeans,

And with an old bandana

Wrapped around his wrist.

A man who had been,

Writing in books

And singing the words in his head for years

And tapping the beats with his finger

And torn by his fans and his family,

And struggling with the choice in his mind;

Who sang and screamed,

And growled and danced;

And whose feet were stirred

By the beat,

As he struggled

With the decision in his mind.
