i hold on for you,

for me,

for all of us in this Hell together

for what seems like an eternity.

at least if we hold hands and play,

we might not even notice

everyone going up in flames.

if i write my little poem,

perhaps the fire that burns me

will be the light that brings you home

through the maze of these worldly games.

life is a book.

if you flip instantly to the ending,

what you read won't make any sense.

everything is interconnected like a puzzle.

it is in the raw experiencing

of each slice of the pilgrimage

that divinity takes birth in the heart.

only through studying the sequence of events

and how we are transformed by them

can we extract the DNA of God.
