expectation anticipation
if you remove all expectation
i know you already told me once before
not to let my anxiety shout and roar
but i still feel a little nervous
i'd rather leave before it worsens
i know you have great expectations
that create overwhelming anticipations
i just don't think i can do it
it won't work with just brains and wit
i'll help you find an alternative
it'll be easier than force an ad lib
and don't try to encourage me
because hiding is how i'm free
