Escaping the Fire

Are changes good? Maybe they are but a scar always remains.

Your face weighs down my memories

it feels like a ton of fright

every time I close my eyes

in this desert-like lucky plane

-

You might come again into my life

I just hope it’s not today

With fire burning in my mind

I don’t know where I’ve been

-

The smoke covers the windows

and I hear cries from the other side

while I won’t bother to move

whenever change comes around

-

Content with the never ending me

I’m just a man that always escapes

towards nothing that fills me with void

while burned from always escaping the fire

-
