Its more than just pressing play
Oftentimes lyrics not needing to be made,
Just the sweet melodic notes and cords
The sound of a pluck, piano and bass, if not more
Layers coming together for a blissful trance
A trance that is a natural dopamine from dance
Led by a deep thumping of the heart felt drum
Whether its a repeated line or trapped, it makes you hum
A consistent flow that many seem blind to
Its a therapeutic form containing zero judgment that many do
Reality shut out
For ravers, this is a lifestyle and culture, then and now
