Flushing Toxicity

Bending our minds like elastics,

Regaining oxygen flow to temporal lobes.

Flushing toxins through ciders and mixed H2o,

Epidermal is now replenishing too.

Sleep onsets at an easier pace,

The mind drifting off like a floating Butterfly.

Eye movement, revealing a deep, theta rate.

Slumber now motionless with only a twitch.

The body awakes in a rejuvenated mode.

And yet again, my consciousness unfolds.

Like a re-edited format, on a new plot.

This author life is about to unfold.

Like a bound up elastic,

The neurons are fresh.

Synaptic in full fire,

A new cognitive connection full of desire.

As I write and create, I feel this to be another form of art. I say this because there is and can be just as much creativity as an oil painting is formed through repetition and insight. To ensure a final product is what you want that to be, sometimes the final product means more to the audience. Therefore in writing I feel, punctuation is important just as much as the idea. In poetry, I feel this to be a raw and unjudgemental for of expression and vision. Only a few may understand the point of view or the intention of the writing. Yet the most wonderful part is when reading, to have your own context identified somewhere throught the written works. You cannot break rules for punctuation if one solitary reader identifies the passion, rage, sadness or humor in a written linguistic form of art. Words are beautiful and full of many meanings. Imagination and creativity become written art. We visualize what we read, and expand on what grabs our attention. This my fellow vocalists, to me reflects on elasticity. Simply expanding our visualization while reading or writing.
