The drip creates a beat that keeps my mind sane

Insane I should say as days pass in a haze

Not woke, still broke, out of hope and out of mind

Out of sight, losing the fight and no where to hide

Drip, drip, drip down my window pane

The drip creates a beat that keeps my mind sane

Insane I should say as days pass in a haze

I want to forget as my body lies in pain

Spontaneous, craziness and laziness in mind

I'm broke, as I choke, my eyes beginning to blind

Drip, drip, drip down my window pane

The drip creates a beat that keeps my mind sane

Insane I should say as days pass in a haze

Shutting down, I no longer feel the pain

Numb, I can't run, strung up and hung to dry

Can't cry, won't lie and my body begins to die

Drip, drip, drip down my window pane

The drip creates a beat but my mind is no longer sane

Thank you so much for reading my work. Your love and contribution keeps pushing me forward. If you're in an extra giving mood, how about a tip?
