Dragon!!!
The Worms Returning!
The water is calm in the cool night air.
But a reflection most unfruitful lingers there.
It comes with terror yet feels no pain.
From what Sorceress Spell, or what Demons Plain.
He smashes the homesteads, Great Warriors Flee!
He think its amusing to gnaw you and me.
Then Worm flies away, all full and alone.
To rest and digest in his high mountain home.
The morning sun rises we see whats been done.
The death he has given, is one hundred plus one.
The remaining folk whisper and cry, what to do!
For this night he will come back,
This time, for YOU!

This frightening experience occurred when I was about eight years old. I used to sleep on the couch downstairs, next to my dad's bed, because I was afraid of the dark. My mom typically wouldn't get home until around 11pm, so I always slept near my dad for comfort.
