Don't Get Lost

Poem about trying not to get lost

Don’t get lost in the post likes and comments from people who know you only as a username

After all of the notifications and vibrations you will have the realization that you’re the same

Even if you get on a pedestal and reach fame

Don’t get lost in losing and gaining weight

And writing down the fats, carbs, and sugars of the Kardashian recommended diet you ate

Remember the human body is meant to change itself

And no matter how much extra couchon is in your pouchon

You should care about you physical and mental health

The numbers don’t define the amazing things your body can do like walk and jump

And if you’re lucky or unlucky create a baby bump

Don’t get lost in the lies that are making their way

When the truth just woke up poured it’s milk with cheerios and

Is barely starting it’s day

Don’t get lost in expectations and try to make time limits thinking they will give you motivation

Just because you played volleyball and caught the bouquet

Doesn’t mean your boyfriend will commit and you will be walking down the aisle

Lastly before I lose myself in this don’t get lost and try to find someone

When you are still looking

Through dirty jackets and lunchboxes with old sandwiches for yourself

Don’t lose yourself
