Don’t blink

Don’t breathe, just yet

Don’t look around

Don’t ask or tell

Don’t make a move

Don’t move a muscle

The eyes of the world

Are weighing on your shoulders

Don’t wear that style

I’m willing to bet

They’ll see and they’ll act

On the look for every move

Through every detail and flaw

They’ll see straight through you

You’re a melting sculpture

That was left unfinished and forgotten

Don’t walk too close

Don’t walk with a slouch

Don’t walk with confidence

Don’t fall behind

Don’t miss that step

Don’t ask twice

Don’t ask

Don’t speak

You are a viscous cycle

Wash, rinse, regret

You pay more mind than they do

Call it a mental debt

Here you are, though, in this place

As you listen and you follow

Our every command, little vassal

Now listen, listen to me

To make sure you’ll be okay

Don’t think twice

In fact, don’t think

Don’t reason or try

Don’t listen

Don’t give in

Don’t even try

Don’t remember

Don’t forget

You see what we do for you

Keep you away from danger

That of which is vague

It’s all in your head, you see

Not like you’ll know

Not like you’ll ever change

You’ll always be in your head

It’s always in your head.
