Directive Signal Markers

Don’t let the world become a courtroom.

Aspects of your still emerging everchanging self

analyzed and critiqued with judgment summarily pronounced

add absent jury of your peers.

Crave connection to clarity above all allegiances.

Sharpened senses and wicked wisdom bestowed

caring not for years,

youth, or yesterday’s progress reports.

Turn over moss-covered rocks and ancient logs.

Sail against wind and tide.

Breathe skies and whys of everlasting soul for each moment

wrapped in aliveness-defying description.

Sipping sweet tea then smiling in sleep.

Eager to rise before first birdsong

for completion of pre-dawn pleasures.

Set inconceivable intentions.

Save heaven-ful hysterics

for mess-ups, short-comings, fights, flukes. and outright failures.

All part of the journey.

Propulsive force.

Inherent flaws but physical laws.

Motion is life, Dear One

and life is

energy breaching restriction

of this you,

movement source expansive.

Untamed.

Seeking.

So never second guess direction

or petition perspective of those who leave this planet

looking back with eyes for freedoms they wish were taken.

Instead,

construct your own altar.

Sacrifice all ignorance and ingrained fears.

Hold back nothing.

As awareness grows confident with every new trail set ablaze.

Inhale aromatic wildflowers.

Cleanse in vast oceans and

stand in torrential downpours once in a while.

Be a reminder,

not a reflection.

From continent to country

listening to the laughter of children.

Place ear to earth and

be certain She wants for nothing

save your authentic self and

unrestrained joy.
