(verse 1)

I'm OK... I'm OK. What else am I supposed to say?

Yeah OK. I'm-fine-I'm-OK-I'm-alright.

I'm just having a hard time believing in myself tonight.

(chorus)

How am I supposed to react when you talk to me like that? (*whisper* talk to me like that). I did what I could in the time that I had. How could you treat me like that? (*treat me like that). It's never what I did. It's always what I missed!

Oh how can you say you care? When all you think-when you think of me is.

Delinquent.

(verse 2)

I try, I try so hard. Piecing it together when it's all falling apart.

I try, I try so hard to make everyone's life easier. All I get is their cold shoulders.

(chorus)

How am I supposed to react when you talk to me like that? (*whisper* talk to me like that). I did what I could in the time that I had. How could you treat me like that? (*treat me like that). It's never what I did. It's always what I missed!

Oh how can you say you care? When all you think-when you think of me is.

Delinquent.
