- Just a normal,
Typical,
Summer day at the community pool...
Or so I thought.
- The sun was shining in the sky,
And the air was sticky with
The humidity of an August storm...
And all around was death.
- The water was crystal clear
And cool enough to counteract the burning heat
Of the aggressive sun;
But the bottom of the pool
Was littered with bodies.
- Mothers, fathers, friends...
And the water was contaminated with
The dead children of those poor souls
Lying motionless forevermore...
On the bottom of that
Dead pool.
