Is it the fear - causing you dread?
Maybe it's the loud, left-over voices -
living there, inside your head
Telling you - that you are too weak
Replaying flashbacks of the times you fell
that keeps you clinging to plan "B"?

Shut them all down, say - "go to hell"
Don't give your ear to quitters
who sold out - their Wanna-Be's - and well...
Settled for average -
Their savageness tamed -
Muzzled excitement, ignoring their heart and souls muffling screams
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Got caught up in mainstream
Settled into the - day-to-day to day
The ol' typical routine - stuck, frozen on repeat
A little bitter and broken -
Aching for the day's - we were still wild and free
loving the risks, living the life- dreaming the dream
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Don't you settle for less, never cower, ashamed
Follow your heart, craving the chase, and chasing the dream
Be all that you can be, always fanning the flame
Keep chasing the unknown, stirring desires - setting you free
Stop and listen to seashells, they won't lead you astray
Guiding you to shooting stars - write your memoirs - in glorious moonbeams

Take it from me-
Go live your life - unchained,
before it gets too late
And life tries to tie you down -
bound to the mundane
You deserve so much more
a life that's worth living
what else is living for -
Take the daydream
We wish that we'd chased the daydream
Don't let go of your daydream

The Gen Z Entrepreneurial Revolution
It is hardly debatable that the world has always been run by a bunch of aging dinosaurs, mostly male, who refuse to allow the younger generation to bring about changes. Politicians and leaders everywhere refuse to release the reigns of creativity and leadership until they are dead or dying. It is time to give the young a chance to revolutionize and change the entire landscape of their existence. Those of us with one foot in the grave, so to speak, should wake up and realize that we are not the ones who will be living in the world in the years to come.
