His scent so consuming, like black opium at midnight

His eyes dark as marble, a compelling mist of magic

The soft touch of his smooth velvet hair, like stardust under the tips of my fingers

An irresistible smile, filled with passion and danger

I feared the rhythmic beat of my heart as he neared me…

Like fire into ice, his touch splintered through my veins

I was his forever, in a whisper of eternity

Bathing in mysterious waterfalls of rich liquid gold

Few speak his name, fearing gasoline on the fire

But I welcomed the darkness

…and gave into desire.
