Shutting it out

Burying it down so it doesn’t escape

Feeling it drift up in bubbles and waves

Letting it out for the occasional play

Stuffing it back into the room

Locking the door

Hiding it away to soon

Fearful someone may see that precious part of you

Not sharing

But keeping it separate from eyes and judgements

Keeping yourself separated

Hiding your world

You disconnect and play when no one is around.

Feeling sad that you cannot share

Feeling vulnerable and exposed if you dare

Not trusting that owning this part of you

Will heal and become embodied and alive

Renewed

But knowing that if you do you will thrive

Accepting and embracing the embodiment is a task

That you must be willing to undertake and feel

To feel the sensations as they truly are real

Relaxing and knowing that your creative flow

Is the healing path for so much you know

It is the vehicle for the transformation of many

It is the wisps of becoming alive
