Corridors
In the depths of my dreams I found you!In the heart of my soul I loved you!In the beauty of my past I remembered you!In the future, I will find you again!
In the solitude of my mind,
I haunt the ghostly corridors of my desire.
In search of you!
Will I ever find you?
Or be it destiny to wander aimlessly?
To places unknown..
My hope to catch the ethereal..
Just a glimpse of the unicorn!
Of you!
So much beauty.
So much desire.
This quenchless thirst breathing fire.
The cup of your elusiveness confounds me!
Be it east, be it west...
All directions point and jest,
As I reach to grasp
Where I thought you were.
Perhaps...?
No, again! And once again.
Come...that I may end
This madman's search,
Find peace at last'
And put down this pen.
