They live all around the world today,
giving a sense of peace that will stay.
Guiding the blind and saving the weak,
protecting our lives no matter the physique.
Rays of hope they bring into our lives,
keeping us safe no matter the surprise.
Furry and fun with plenty to give,
sharing our sorrows wherever we live.
Not a word passes through their lips,
they comfort our trials no matter the dips.
Pointing their snouts they show us the way,
to brighter futures that can begin today.
We love and cherish them to their very souls,
and keep them close despite their many holes.
Life is a mystery with many gaps to fill,
but we shall prevail with strength of will.
Our companions beside us we must carry on,
for trails must me made on this earth we're upon.
