Community

Though these times

may have been tough —

we stuck together —

in community

do we find

the

STRONGEST

action,

change,

and movement forward.

Sunken Cost Bias

A thousand sunsets

have come and gone —

I thought I was ready

to speak.

I thought I was ready

to begin again

the process and journey

to healing.

I once again

experienced that

invalidation

imposition

interruption —

the constant interruptions —

before I could even finish one sentence.

One sentence

was all I wanted to get out.

This has been such

a costly endeavour,

but I look to the sunrise —

錢財身外物 —

that money I lost

is external to my

physical and emotional well-being.

To remind myself

that I should pull out

this circus before

the entrenched traumas dug

last I reached out

to a helping hand

are dug deeper.
