You say I know you but I have no idea what you’re like in your own head
If we went to a party I wouldn’t know where you would rather stand is that why you let the crowd take you
I stole your journal once but the numbers and scribbles were no help
Do you not think about your thoughts are they that bad?
You say I know you but you don’t know your best friend
And your wife is crying in your bed again
Usually, a smile is worth a thousand words, but yours could say less
I've put knowing you to rest. I guess
I don’t want to know if you don’t.
