Linens dampened with salty tears
Shed in stillness of darkened rooms
Dry fresh in the warmth of summer sun
Inhaling a welcome gentle breeze
*
Broken vessels of madness shattered
Shards of life suctioned through hoses
Solitary protection inside a bubble
Freedom is found in the vacuum
*
Dust accumulated in days of monotony
Stagnant moments of unvarying lives
Cast aside in steady, sweeping lines
Shine restored with helping hands
*
Coppery stains on porcelain hearts
Used until worn, now worthless, ignored
Pampered in powdery citrus springs
Their glowing sparkle freshly renewed
*
Inhale
Hold
Exhale
Cleanse
Refresh your mind
Cleanse your soul
