Cheers to the forgotten

and cheers to what they did.

Cheers to the things they built

and to the memories where they stay hid.

Cheers to those who built the world

only to be paid no mind.

Cheers to those who changed societies

only to be lost forgotten in time.

Cheers to those who gave their life

fighting for what is righteous.

Cheers to those who gave their strife

who are never thought of in the slightest.

Cheers to us who have been forgotten

by those who have no clue.

Cheers to those who have forgot

for all of us sometimes do.

Cheers to those we don't remember

with accomplishments not for naught.

Cheers to all the forgotten

as forgetting is the rule, remembering is not.

Cheers to those forgotten friends

who live in memories lost.

If only we could remember them again

we could share a cheers of timely cost.
