The torment led you far
you went on paths
that twisted, turned,
made you dizzy in crossroads,
led you to falls or cliffs
and ever you pushed on,
convinced
that light waited
on the other side
of this one wall of grief and toil.
***
You didn’t think one place
could hold your hopes secure,
you reached for peaks
to cradle wishes
but you forgot in flight
that wind is stronger
up above
you need to rest,
and fill your breath
with fragrance of belonging,
with sights that make your soul
happy to be.
***
When heart smiles,
your emotions
are set alight
you find your inspiration,
you fulfill goals
and peek through windows
that you were always looked down from.
***
Now they are yours,
but you don’t stay
you won’t make this cold place,
ambition,
your garden
for life.
***
Purpose and delicious temptation
can lead you on a race
that lasts for days or decades
the minutes in between,
the moments when you have talks
with the sun
or when blue moon shines on you
to guide
and to protect
with mantles of whispering wishes,
you start to see a ray
of love
that shines
behind the curtain.
***
The barrier between heart,
mind,
and your next goal
could have you running all your life,
never fulfilled or satisfied,
lacking
a resting place.
***
Reach high, don’t daunt your dreams
fan wishes with their shimmer
but keep your heart turned
to that ray
of moonbeam
and a drop of sunshine
that points to the place
that will stay yours
for all seasons.
***
It’s home,
it still remembers you.
You may have left
a lifetime ago,
as soon as you step near
it vibrates with a touch,
it hugs
a whisper and a song
from you.
***
Who you are and will be
are one,
connected, loved,
cherished by flowers
blooming with purple of insight
pink for redemption
yellow for trust
in hopeful harmony with who you became
now and in the next breath
of wind and light.
