Calling

Calling shortcomings

+4 years been following the calling

Yet to my own dismay, I keep falling

Falling to be preyed upon always

Always the same welcoming

Welcoming into humiliation and disgrace

Disgraced but forgiving each case

Only to fall prey to the next calling

Thinking each new circle will erase the last

But still it simply imitates it’s immediate past

Like the last ordeal only encourages the next

An eternal infernal circle enduring bitterness

How to mend a now broken unforgiving heart

All the calling short comings mended

How to regain control of the futures past

Is it to become as heartless as the past

For meek me isn’t weak me, just, just me

But if it’s what it takes to erase any further pain

My heart sincerely is up to the task

Let the future be the guest to a new rain
