Caffeinated

Mint Mocha

Caffeinated

The sun is shining on my head. It is warm, and light.

I run my fingers through my curly mane, and breathe in:

I am so glad I washed my hair today!!

I'd better enjoy these last two weeks of Sun, for when the time changes,

There will be less of it; the watered down mint mocha of the fall.

A time of reflection. A time of introspection. Less sun always means

More thoughts, and feelings come...

The fall: The fall of old beliefs, the sound of old

Habits, falling hard, as we examine the past months of

Hot java activity.

How will the year end?

How did it all start?

So much has happened, but I know, so much will finally end.
