Building With Passion
So let me build, and build with care
With hands and heart and sweat and toil,
I set to work upon the soil,
And dreamt of what I'd build today,
With hammer, nail, and saw in play.
I measured twice and cut just once,
Each board a piece of my own punch,
My vision clear, my goal in sight,
I built and built with all my might.
The structure rose, a thing of pride,
Its walls a fortress, strong and wide,
Its roof a shelter from the storm,
Its windows open to the morn.
And in its walls, I poured my soul,
Each board a story, rich and whole,
A testament to what I'd done,
A symbol of the light I'd won.
For in the act of building, I,
Had built a world that touched the sky,
A world of hope and strength and grace,
A world that time could not erase.
So let me build, and build with care,
And know that in each board, I'll share,
A part of me that's strong and true,
A part of me that's built for you
