Dreams took flight in the heart of a little kid, yearning for the stars and reaching out to the night.

He envisaged a future so large and so wide, but college's brutal bonds crushed his ambitions.

The weight of the pressure, like a stone on his chest, stifled his desire and tested his goals.

The whispers of failure, the shadow of uncertainty, quenched the fire within, gradually extinguishing it.

His adolescent desire was eaten by the age, as books became boulders and classes became a prison.

A life full of promise, so much possibility, lost in the currents of a fast-moving past.

When the world is at peace at night, in the silence of the night,

The boy's destroyed dreams continue to ache in his chest.

Wishing for second chances, for time to turn back,

He was looking for a path that he couldn't locate.
