Before you were born,
the questions bloomed.
How to describe the world
to weak eyes?
Its shape, color, and texture.
Its blushing radiance
and the weight of stardust.
How could we paint pictures
with our memories?
Then you came,
bringing not chaos
but comfort.
We would be the ones to see
the world anew.
Tiny fingers grasping,
little eyes, twin oceans
deep and still.
Holding a part of us
outside of us,
watching you warm
the symphony of your senses.
The answers are yours to find.
We walk with you,
gathering memories like pearls,
and along the string we dance
together
through this season of awe,
to the wonder.
