We are all born free,

But the chains of life come for us,

It's a test of strength, you see,

A test to break these cuffs.

The chains come in different forms,

Some physical, some not,

But they weigh us down in storms,

And they tie us to one spot.

For some, it's poverty,

For others, it's oppression,

For me, it was anxiety,

A constant, suffocating session.

But one day, I had enough,

I decided to break the chains,

To take a road that's rough,

And to break free from these pains.

I started to breathe and meditate,

To exercise and eat right,

To read and to educate,

To write and to fight.

And slowly but surely,

I started to break the chains,

To rise up so purely,

And to shatter all the constrains.

Now I stand before you,

A free and confident soul,

And I want to empower you too,

To take control of your own goal.

For the chains are only temporary,

If you choose to break them down,

And the world can be so merry,

If you choose to wear your crown.

So let's break these chains together,

And let's rise up from the ashes,

For we are strong like a feather,

And we are capable of smashing all the clashes.
