Bonded Like Glue

A8

In a wonderful world where all is serene, a shimmering light the like the lad had never seen.

A wonder so splendid he could hardly contain, the look on his face wonder couldn't explain.

With a grin so bright, his feet took flight. A day, he thought, to bask in the sun shining light.

His feet took step like a bird in flight. No wonder, he thought, serene, bark, light.

A noise he heard, behind him not far, a small dog in sight covered in fur.

A pet came his way, for both of them, two. They sat there together, friends, bonded like glue.
