In the darkness of the night when all is still,

And the moon shines bright over the hill,

There lurks a presence, cold and grim,

That preys upon the souls of men.

Its eyes are black as coal and deep,

Its breath is foul and darkly steep,

And when it speaks, its voice doth chill

The very marrow of your will.

It comes to you when you're alone,

And whispers things that make you groan,

Of all the sins that you have done,

And how you'll pay when life is done.

You try to run, but it's too late,

It's already sealed your fate,

For now it holds you in its grip,

And slowly starts to tear and rip.

Your screams go unheard in the night,

As it takes you far from sight,

And though you try with all your might,

You know you'll never see the light.

Its grip is icy, its touch is cold,

Its breath is like the wind so bold,

It's as if death itself had come,

To take you to your final home.

You feel its claws upon your skin,

As it drags you deep within,

To a world of darkness and despair,

Where there's no hope, no love, no air.

The walls close in, the ground gives way,

And you feel yourself start to sway,

As the world around you fades to black,

And you're trapped in a never-ending track.

You see the faces of those long gone,

Their eyes filled with sorrow and song,

And you hear the screams of those in pain,

As they suffer in eternal rain.

This is the horror that awaits,

For those who wander through the gates,

Of the darkness that lies within,

The heart of evil, the depths of sin.

So heed this warning, lest you be

Caught in its grip eternally,

And suffer in the endless night,

Forevermore, without respite.
