A Moment of Moon Madness!
Oh Moon
La lune
You tease me through
the obscured view
hinting at life's beauty
but is permanently off duty
Darkness except the moon
oh la lune
Your tantalizing light
in the dead of night
feeds in my very soul
the one you stole
With your assurance
And reoccurrence
From waxing to waning
in the sky reigning
giving hope to all
But letting me fall
Through the cracks
Life out of syntax
My tide is always in
It cannot begin
to fathom the out
Too filled with doubt.
With the seven seas
help me please
My moon
La lune
to get back
without Prozac.
