Black rights, a fight for equality,

For those oppressed and marginalized, constantly.

A battle that has raged for centuries,

A quest for justice and dignity.

Voices raised, speaking out against the night,

A rallying cry for justice, a beacon of light.

A struggle to be seen and heard,

A demand for equal rights, an urgent word.

A history marred by slavery and pain,

A legacy of hatred and racial disdain.

But despite the shackles and broken dreams,

The spirit of resistance still gleams.

From Selma to St. Louis,

From Harlem to Houston,

The struggle continues,

For black lives and black rights, a call to action.

With hope in our hearts, and love in our minds,

We march on, united, a powerful bind.

For black rights are human rights,

A cause worth fighting for, with all our might.
