Billy bought a big balloon
Bouncing high, it reached the moon
But Billy wasn't quite aware
Of the dangers lurking there
Beneath the moon's bright, eerie light
Beings laughed with all their might
Baboons, bats, and buzzards too
Beckoned Billy to their zoo
Baffled Billy couldn't resist
He boarded their spaceship, no assist
Blasted off to who knows where
Bumping into stars, he didn't care
Blissful, he bounced through the skies
Believing this was all so wise
But soon, he missed his home sweet home
Bawling in a baboon's dome
Back on Earth, Billy's mom had cried
"Billy, where have you been, you're bonafide!"
Billy grinned, balloon in hand
"Been on the moon, in a band!"
Bewildered, his mom burst out laughing
"I see that balloon, but where's your stuffing?"
Billy shrugged and bounced away
Bananas, bugs, and birds, his new array.
